Influenced by my busy family, living abroad, career, a love of the game of golf and my passion for cooking, I wrote TASTOSTERONE to provide men with a road map of supplies, tips and recipes for navigating around the kitchen. My devotion to friends, family, food, sports and entertaining as well as my unique work experience may just be the magical combination that makes TASTOSTERONE relatable to both men and women.
I grew up in Oradell, New Jersey where I started cooking at the age of 14 to help my busy working parents get dinner on the table. As a child, I was intrigued with cooking and fondly remember watching Julia Child and writing down her recipes, then preparing them and testing them on my family. As a young adult, I lived abroad in London and Israel where my love affair with traveling and adapting recipes from other cultures inspired my cooking.
In addition to a four-generation love affair with food and party planning, I enjoyed a marketing career in the perfume division of Estée Lauder Corporation. Due to family obligation, I left the company to help run my parents’ automobile business where I observed the testosterone-driven world of men.
In love with the Big Apple – its cultures and food – I lived in New York City for more than 15 years until I moved to Switzerland with my husband Robert. I currently reside in Rumson, NJ with my husband and daughter, devoting much time to my passion for cooking and entertaining.
