Shrimp and Crab Dip

Eating some fresh shrimp and crabmeat is a great way to get that lean extra protein boost. If you’re in a pinch you can always use the canned stuff. Don’t forget to drain the liquid first or your seafood will be swimming around in watery dip!


  • 12 ounces fresh cleaned and cooked shrimp, roughly chopped
  • 12 ounces fresh crabmeat (pick through to take out any shells)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (I prefer Hellman’s brand)
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons hot or sweet and tangy sauce (my new favorites are Fourth Creek Sweet Red Pepper Relish and Mazi Piri Piri Sauce)


  1. Mix all the ingredients together.
  2. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Refrigerate then serve with chips, crackers or fresh raw vegetables.
